To continue the theme of September as Suicide Prevention Month, I’m sharing a recent article published in a local newspaper you’ll find the link below.
As a multiple suicide attempt survivor, I’m on a mission to offer hope and help people avoid the dark place I once found myself in. Mental illness deserves the same compassion we naturally give physical illness, and together we can help shift that conversation.
Would you want to be able to spot the signs and confidently talk someone off the ledge?
I’m a certified speaker with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and trained to deliver their signature presentation, Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention™.
Throughout September, I’ll be hosting a live Zoom presentation every Tuesday. Different times are available to accommodate global time zones, and all details can be found on the Events page of this website.
I look forward to seeing you at an event and continuing this life-saving conversation.
