This past week I attended the Florida Christian Writers Conference #FCWC with MY agenda.

I’m not sure why I do this when I know better than this. You would think I have learned by now.

I know that the brain controls our bodies, how we think, feel and what we do. I know it’s important to have purpose.

I know there are four wheels of brain health. Some call them circles. Some call them domains.

What I do know because of my journey is when I go in with MY agenda and think I don’t need to connect with someone that is called PRIDE!

I have experienced what it’s like to drop my pride and be open to what the Lord (my higher power) has for me. And, I have to remind myself, because guess what? I am human and not perfect.

So that’s what I did. I reminded myself, “this is not about me.”

You have heard me say “I’m on a mission to change the conversation to brain health from mental health.” I have to keep my eyes fixed on the bigger picture, which means this is not about me. I have been called to create generational and organizational impact.

I am excited as I invite you to join me on the journey where together we can change the conversation, end the stigma, and make an impact on generations and organizations simply by luving our brain.

Are you ready to join me? What are you curious to learn?
